CamStyle Acoustic Screen Divider

A CamStyle™ Acoustic Screen Divider is one of the most effective means for acoustical control in offices. This divider provides flexibility, economy, personal privacy and most important, speech privacy. The two styles - free-standing and desk-mounted - offer options for different budgets and requirements.

The free-standing screens include a linking facility.The desk-mounted screens are attached via brackets and offer optional wire management.

The rugged divider is built solidly with extruded linking edges, on a sound reduction septum plate, sandwiched between 25mm thickness of  acoustic boards on each side and finished with acoustically transparent decorative fabric facing.

 Acoustic Performance

All CamStyle™ acoustic screens have exceptional acoustic performance. These double-sided acoustic units with internal sound reduction cores  have two acoustical functions. First, the divider reduces direct sound transmission from one work zone to another. Second, the divider absorbs sound, hence reducing flanking sound reflections into adjacent work zones.

The CamStyle™ Acoustic Screen Divider has a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.92, which means 92% of the sound is absorbed.

Supply

We build flexibility into the CamStyle™ dividers. The screens are manufactured to your required sizes and delivered to your doorstep. However because the CamStyle™ divider is a heavy-duty screen, it is advisable that a minimum of two people are involved in moving and handling the screens.

Feet and linking strips are supplied with each free-standing screen so that all you have to do is to position the CamStyle™ dividers  in your desired location and configuration and you are ready to work in a quieter environment.

The desk-mounted dividers offer similar flexiblity.

Configuration and Colours

The free-standing CamStyle™ divider can be placed almost anywhere. They can serve as single units or they can be linked to other dividers to create a myriad of different working spaces. As your work space requirements change, you can change the CamStyle configurations to suit, giving you total flexibility.

The desk-mounted divider uses brackets to create a secure foundation.

What’s more, the dividers come in a spectrum of colours.  That means the divideris not only functional but looks good to the eye too. Fabric choices include our Lucia and Cara lines. Fabric colour swatch cards are available on request.

Standard floor standing sizes are:

Standard nominal widths: 800mm, 1000mm,1200mm

Standard nominal heights:1200mm,1500mm, 1800mm. Other sizes are available on request.

Standard nominal thickness: Approximately 60mm, depending on the style.

Standard nominal weight: 9 kg/m2.  

Flammability

The acoustic Coresorba board is rated Class 0. Standard fabric facings are fire rated as Class 1. Class 0 fabrics are available on request.
