Archimedes Pulleys are stocked in and available in 1 Way to 9 Way groove configurations with a safe working load (SWL) of 600 to 750kg

• • 150mm diameter with 6mm SWR grooves.
• • 200mm diameter with 6mm SWR grooves.
• • 200mm diameter with 8mm SWR grooves.

Key Features

• • Designed and manufactured in the UK.
• • Comply to BS 7905-1:2001 Lifting equipment for performance, broadcast and similar applications – Part 1: Specification for the design and manufacture of above stage equipment (excluding trusses and towers).
• • Meet the Consultant tender pulley specification of a minimum D:d ratio of 30:1.
• • Sheaves are manufactured from Acetal providing excellent wear resistance, mechanical strength, stiffness and good fatigue resistance under static load.
• • Rotate on sealed ball bearings supported directly on the Grade 10.9 spindle bolt. Bearing spacers ensure the correct torque so that the bearings cannot be over-tightened.
• • Pulleys are available in 1 Way to 9 Way groove configurations.
• • Grooved to suit a 16mm or 20mm SWR pitch as standard, (but can be grooved to suit the required SWR pitch if different.)
• • Designed and manufactured to a 10:1 safety factor.
• • Pulleys and fittings are labelled with their Safe Working Load.
• • 24 Month Warranty subject to a 12 month inpection regime and does not cover damage caused by improper use or overloading.

Mounting

• • Multi Way Fixing Angles are available in two sizes, to suit beams with 75mm to 155mm flanges and 155mm to 330mm flanges. Girder Dogs to the specified flange thickness are included.
• • Multi Way Fixing Angles can be used to mount pulleys above or below the beams, with variable positioning of the pulley block in the angles to suit the exact drop point.
• • Multi Way Fixing Angles can also be used to mount pulleys directy to a suitable surface such as a concrete slab. Mountings can also be supplied to attach Archimedes Pulleys to structural tubes in either a parallel or perpendicular orientation.

• • Customer sheave diameters from 100mm to 260mm are available upon request.
• • Pulleys also include a range of 200mm diameter Head Block Pulleys.
• • Steel Wire Rope groove profiles are available for 4mm, 3/16”, 5mm, 6mm, 1/4”, 5/16” and 8mm.
