UniBeam Side Cord Guide
This component is designed to support the operating cord and prevent sag over long distances. It should be located along the track run at between 2 and 4 metre centres. The 'flipper' stops the cord from falling out of the guide whilst allowing the master or scenery carrier to pass through.The Side Cord Guide comprises an 'L' shaped steel strap which mounts with an M12 bolt and Unistrut nut through a clearance hole in the top.

This component is designed to support the operating cord and prevent sag over long distances. It should be located along the track run at between 2 and 4 metre centres. The 'flipper' stops the cord from falling out of the guide whilst allowing the master or scenery carrier to pass through.The Side Cord Guide comprises an 'L' shaped steel strap which mounts with an M12 bolt and Unistrut nut through a clearance hole in the top. The vertical arm of the mounting carries two 40mm diameter black Nylon ball raced capstan pulleys mounted one above the other. Above the top capstan pulley is a cord keep bush, to trap the cord, and which carries a pivoting plate referred to as a 'flipper' and the lower end of which reaches the centre of the bottom capstan pulley. A close fitting rubber sleeve is fitted on the 'flipper' to reduce noise as it comes into contact with the passage of the master runner. The finish is black.
