The Vivitek D863 Projector is a high-performance digital projector that offers exceptional digital images with full colour saturation with integrated BrilliantColor technologies from Texas. This projector features native XGA resolution, multiple connectivity options and 3000 ANSI Lumen of brightness for a perfect viewing image with every use. This product has optional compatible accessories available, the replacement lamp module with intergrated 190W of power.

The Vivitek D863 is ideally suited for office and education environments. In addition to its 3D capabilities, this new digital projector features an embedded media player to easily play Microsoft Office documents, photos, videos and audio files without being connected to a PC. In addition to its native XGA resolution, the Vivitek D863 provides 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness with a high contrast ratio of 15,000:1 and it is equipped with a long lamp life of 6,000 hours in standard mode and for facilitating the daily use. The Vivitek can be called the office all-rounded projector for all applications.

Brilliant Colour Technology
With the integrated BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments a multi-colour processing technology that produces vibrant images and a perfect viewing image with every use. BrilliantColor technology uses up to six colours, instead of just the three primary colours, red, green and blue, to improve colour accuracy, contrast and brightens secondary colours and continues to produces vivid digital images.

3D Ready
This projector that is 3D Ready can accept a 120Hz frame-sequential 3D signal from a computer. These projectors are not compatible with the HDMI 1.4 3D specification used on 3D Blu-ray players and set-top boxes. The 3D ready function uses DLP Link Technology from Texas.

DLP (Digital Light Processing)
DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a display technology from Texas Instruments (TI). The technology inside is often referred to as DMD (Digital Micro-Mirrors). It consists of an array of mirrors where each mirror represents a pixel element. For example, a high-definition DLP projector or rear projector with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution would have over 2 million tiny mirrors. Each mirror is attached to an electronically driven hinge that controls the amount of coloured light that is reflected from.

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface)
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface that supports audio/video sources such as a set-top box, DVD player, A/V receiver, and video monitors such as a digital projector or digital television (DTV). HDMI is backward compatible with DVI 1.0 specification and supports HDCP.
