The Vivitek D967 is a multimedia projector for most media functions and professional use. The D967 delivers an amazing image quality and it is perfectly suited for large meeting rooms. Featuring new media technologies, display technologies and a range of features as it combines high performance with rich functionality with simple handling, the Vivitek D967 is one of the best projectors on the professional installation market thanks to its 5500 ANSI Lumens of brightness and an outstanding contrast ratio of 10.000:1. The Vivitek D967 projector delivers bright, superb digital images with full colour saturation for a perfect viewing image with every use. Additionally intended for the high-end installation and heavy duty applications this product can operate providing high quality image projections for most multi-media functions. In addition to 5500 ANSI lumens of brightness the D967 features high-efficiency lamps and versatile connectivity options (including HDMI) for easy set up and connection to the wide variety of multimedia sources found in the professional environment. Brilliant Colour Technology
With the integrated BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments a multi-colour processing technology that produces vibrant images and a perfect viewing image with every use. BrilliantColor technology uses up to six colours, instead of just the three primary colours, red, green and blue, to improve colour accuracy, contrast and brightens secondary colours and continues to produces vivid digital images.

3D Ready
This projector that is 3D Ready can accept a 120Hz frame-sequential 3D signal from a computer. These projectors are not compatible with the HDMI 1.4 3D specification used on 3D Blu-ray players and set-top boxes. The 3D ready function uses DLP Link Technology from Texas.

DLP (Digital Light Processing)
DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a display technology from Texas Instruments (TI). The technology inside is often referred to as DMD (Digital Micro-Mirrors). It consists of an array of mirrors where each mirror represents a pixel element. For example, a high-definition DLP projector or rear projector with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution would have over 2 million tiny mirrors. Each mirror is attached to an electronically driven hinge that controls the amount of coloured light that is reflected from the screen surface.
