The Vivitek D5000 Projector is part of the D5000 series provided by Vivitek. This product is professional-grade equipment specially designed for the large venue & conference rooms, making this item perfect for any large room with accessibility for a projector. The D5000 delivers amazing video performance. With a Pixelworks™ processor, manual lens shift functions and multiple connectivity alternatives the D5000 is the perfect investment as it incorporates new media technologies for the perfect viewing image available on the large projection market. With integrated smart technologies from Texas the Vivitek D5000 integrates BrilliantColour Technologies and 2500 contrast ratio delivering a high quality sharp colour image.

The Vivitek D5000 has three interchangeable lens options, the Fixed Wide Short Throw Lens with a throw of 0.77:1, the Standard Zoom Lens with a throw of 1.54 - 1.93:1 and a Medium Zoom Lens with a throw of 1.93 - 2.89:1. The Vivitek D5000 has additional available accessories.

The Vivitek D5000 XGA Digital Projector is ideal for fixed installations and built for classroom settings or office venues. The D5000 uses the latest in DLP Technology from Texas Instruments that enables you to display outstanding images for exceptional brightness and vibrant colors.

With a 2500:1 contrast ratio that shows extraordinary crisp details and 5200 lumens of superior brightness, the D5000 provides excellent projection under any lighting conditions. The need for high brightness gradually increases because the benefit of having high brightness can achieve better results if the presenter prefers to have an eye contact with the audience while keeping the ambient lights on. With a 1024 x 768 resolution, the D5000 delivers bright, superb digital images with full color saturation. Intended for high-impact multimedia presentations, the Vivitek D5000 is unmatched in performance and function.

Brilliant Colour Technology
With the integrated BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments a multi-colour processing technology that produces vibrant images and a perfect viewing image with every use. BrilliantColor technology uses up to six colours, instead of just the three primary colours, red, green and blue, to improve colour accuracy, contrast and brightens secondary colours and continues to produces vivid digital images.

3D Ready
This projector that is 3D Ready can accept a 120Hz frame-sequential 3D signal from a computer. These projectors are not compatible with the HDMI 1.4 3D specification used on 3D Blu-ray players and set-top boxes. The 3D ready function uses DLP Link Technology from Texas.

DLP (Digital Light Processing)
DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a display technology from Texas Instruments (TI). The technology inside is often referred to as DMD (Digital Micro-Mirrors). It consists of an array of mirrors where each mirror represents a pixel element. For example, a high-definition DLP projector or rear projector with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution would have over 2 million tiny mirrors. Each mirror is attached to an electronically driven hinge that controls the amount of coloured light that is reflected from.

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface)
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface that supports audio/video sources such as a set-top box, DVD player, A/V receiver, and video monitors such as a digital projector or digital television (DTV). HDMI is backward compatible with DVI 1.0 specification and supports HDCP.
