The Vivitek D5185HD digital projector, a professional-grade projector, uses the latest advancements in video-processing technologies to create remarkable image quality. The D5185HD has a Pixelworks™ processor, manual lens shift functions and multiple connectivity alternatives. The comprehensive projector creates a superior picture in a large-venue environment.

VivitekD5185HD installation projector has 4,200 ANSI lumens brightness. HDMI - DVI Built in edge blending. It comes with a standard lens and there are 3 optional long and short throw lenses. All the range of Vivitek projectors have rapid start up and shutdown. When you turn off the projector, the fan runs higher for 4 seconds to rapidly cool down the lamp. The D5185HD also includes software inside which blends and warps up to three D5185HD projectors into a seamless multi-megapixels.

This embedded edge blending function does not require a dedicated technician. A quick set-up process enables smooth transitions between overlapping image edges as well as rectifies differences in brightness in order to create a homogeneous overall display.

Brilliant Colour Technology
With the integrated BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments a multi-colour processing technology that produces vibrant images and a perfect viewing image with every use. BrilliantColor technology uses up to six colours, instead of just the three primary colours, red, green and blue, to improve colour accuracy, contrast and brightens secondary colours and continues to produces vivid digital images.

3D Ready
This projector that is 3D Ready can accept a 120Hz frame-sequential 3D signal from a computer. These projectors are not compatible with the HDMI 1.4 3D specification used on 3D Blu-ray players and set-top boxes. The 3D ready function uses DLP Link Technology from Texas.

DLP (Digital Light Processing)
DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a display technology from Texas Instruments (TI). The technology inside is often referred to as DMD (Digital Micro-Mirrors). It consists of an array of mirrors where each mirror represents a pixel element. For example, a high-definition DLP projector or rear projector with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution would have over 2 million tiny mirrors. Each mirror is attached to an electronically driven hinge that controls the amount of coloured light that is reflected from.

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface)
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface that supports audio/video sources such as a set-top box, DVD player, A/V receiver, and video monitors such as a digital projector or digital television (DTV). HDMI is backward compatible with DVI 1.0 specification and supports HDCP.
