The Vivitek D7180HD Projector is the ultimate in short-throw projectors provided by Vivitek. The Vivitek D7180HD has a world record shortest throw-ratio of 0.19:1. This product continues to provide a perfect presentation, whilst maintaining the removal of incident light keeping it from the eyes and leaving minimal and unnoticeable shadows on the image surface. The short throw provides great flexibility on where the installation of the projector can be placed in a smaller room where a large projector isn’t practical. It is ideal for business and corporate environments in small to medium meeting rooms. The Vivitek D7180HD projector is one of a kind, it has an inclusive integrated world record ultra short throw lens of 0.19:1.

Brilliant Colour Technology
Moreover, the Vivitek D7180HD has an impressive colour reproduction and amazing performance thanks to DLP® Brilliantcolour™ technologies. With the integrated BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments a multi-colour processing technology that produces vibrant images and a perfect viewing image with every use. BrilliantColor technology uses up to six colours, instead of just the three primary colours, red, green and blue, to improve colour accuracy, contrast and brightens secondary colours and continues to produces vivid digital images.

3D Ready
This projector that is 3D Ready can accept a 120Hz frame-sequential 3D signal from a computer. These projectors are not compatible with the HDMI 1.4 3D specification used on 3D Blu-ray players and set-top boxes. The 3D ready function uses DLP Link Technology from Texas.

DLP (Digital Light Processing)
DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a display technology from Texas Instruments (TI). The technology inside is often referred to as DMD (Digital Micro-Mirrors). It consists of an array of mirrors where each mirror represents a pixel element. For example, a high-definition DLP projector or rear projector with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution would have over 2 million tiny mirrors. Each mirror is attached to an electronically driven hinge that controls the amount of coloured light that is reflected from.

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface)
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface that supports audio/video sources such as a set-top box, DVD player, A/V receiver, and video monitors such as a digital projector or digital television (DTV).
