The Vivitek D8900 Projector provides 10,000 ANSI lumens of brightness and has a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and built-in edge-blending & warping technology which make the projector imminently versatile for a multitude of different applications like in concert or sports arenas as well as auditoriums this projector is ideal for rental, staging and fixed installations.

Lens Position Memory (LPM) can alter and fix your lens to individual positions for focus, zoom, and lens shift. This product can be stored easily and with flexibility when changing. This lense is part of a three series lense options compatible with the Vivitek D5180HD. Six interchangeable lens options are available for flexible positioning in for a varying screen size or projection distance requirements. For additional ease in installation, the D8900 projector also enables image edge blending & warping and geometric corrections for installations projection on curved surfaces. the Vivitek D8900 is unmatched in performance and functionalities.

The Vivitek D8900 is designed for demanding large venue installation applications. The Vivitek D8900 offer superb image quality with built-in Edge-Blending and Dual Lamp TechnologiesThe D8900 features dual-lamp technology, as well as six interchangeable lenses and colour wheels to enhance challenging video applications and sources. The D8900 delivers bright, superb digital images with full colour saturation.

Brilliant Colour Technology
With the integrated BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments a multi-colour processing technology that produces vibrant images and a perfect viewing image with every use. BrilliantColor technology uses up to six colours, instead of just the three primary colours, red, green and blue, to improve colour accuracy, contrast and brightens secondary colours and continues to produces vivid digital images.

3D Ready
This projector that is 3D Ready can accept a 120Hz frame-sequential 3D signal from a computer. These projectors are not compatible with the HDMI 1.4 3D specification used on 3D Blu-ray players and set-top boxes. The 3D ready function uses DLP Link Technology from Texas.

DLP (Digital Light Processing)
DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a display technology from Texas Instruments (TI). The technology inside is often referred to as DMD (Digital Micro-Mirrors). It consists of an array of mirrors where each mirror represents a pixel element. For example, a high-definition DLP projector or rear projector with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution would have over 2 million tiny mirrors. Each mirror is attached to an electronically driven hinge that controls the amount of coloured light that is reflected from.

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface)
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface that supports audio/video sources such as a set-top box, DVD player, A/V receiver, and video monitors such as a digital projector or digital television (DTV). HDMI is backward compatible with DVI 1.0 specification and supports HDCP.
